Jak, your mother was so proud of you all! She was very protective of her children, even when she disagreed with their choices, her wrath would befall on anyone who said anything otherwise! I admired and loved her for that trait! She loved life and embraced everyone she met with open arms and unconditional love for her fellow man. She has truly been missed! Thanks for honoring her with this blog and your acknowledgement of her brave decision to live her life her way to the end! She graced us with her life and blessed us all with her children and grandchildren! Love to you all!

It was a year of loss for both of us, Jak. I lost my mom three days after Seana’s wedding as well as my step dad and two aunts. Watching Michaela sing is so moving, she carries on your mom’s legacy with such grace and elegance. Please know my heart understands your loss. Here is to our moms. Take care.
